About

The Full Story

Hello! My higher education journey began with a digital marketing degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. While thriving in that space, I realized it wasn't aligning with the depths of my soul or passions. Fast forward to the present day—I currently reside in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I am pursuing my dream at Lesley University, where I am on the path to becoming a licensed mental health therapist.

But my ambitions extend beyond therapy. One of my dreams is to advocate for those with disabilities, those struggling with obsessive obsessive-compulsive disorder, and aiding those with severe ADHD.

I am also interested in creating a movement within America to focus on incorporating a 4-day work week and cultivate a healthier mental health environment for everyday workers, maybe even dabbling into the world of IO psychology.

My diverse interests include exploring new places (like the captivating Zion National Park in Utah, or the salty mountain towns of Portugal), socializing and meeting new people, and experimenting with different recipes.

I completed my clinical internship with RISAS (Rhode Island Student Assistance Services), where I aided a Student Assistance Counselor in an inner-city middle school in Rhode Island. This was one of the most significant learning experiences for me, as I navigated the ins and outs of various systems, gained insight into what the youth of this country face, and learned how to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment. Although I did not wish to work with kids after graduating from Lesley, I believed in empowering the youth of this country and valued the opportunity to learn from some of the most brutally honest populations. I had always enjoyed working with kids, and I thought it would be the most beneficial transition into the world of therapy. The transferable skills from this internship have undoubtedly aided my practice with older adults.

I have been working at Attunement Counseling & Wellness Collective for the past nine months, where I specialize in supporting individuals navigating OCD, disability, ADHD, trauma, and anxiety. My practice focuses on working with adults (18+), teens (13-17), and children as young as five specifically for grief.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2019 and completed my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Lesley University in 2024. Additionally, I completed my EMDR Basic Training through Thrive Learning PLLC in 2024, further strengthening my ability to support clients dealing with trauma.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based techniques, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to develop strategies that foster resilience and self-compassion.

I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Tufts insurance, with a session fee of $140 per hour.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by persistent anxiety, struggling with OCD or trauma, or learning to navigate life with ADHD or a disability, I am here to help. Together, we can work towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.
